People in Kinson on the look out for a bargain are in for a treat when The House community shop opens its doors on Saturday the 28th of May. Bargain Hunters will be able to choose from a wide selection of quality second-hand adult and children’s clothes, books, toys and items for the home.
The House is a brand new non-profit community shop in Kinson that promises to make a real difference within its local community. Unlike many of the larger well known charity shops, the funds raised by The House will be fed into projects that help those in need right on the doorstep of the shop.
Carol Street, who’s heading up The House project said ‘The House community shop is a very exciting venture and we can’t wait to open the doors on the launch day. The local area of Kinson and surrounds will benefit hugely from every pound we take and this will help us make real steps towards helping those in need in and around this area.”
The House will rely on good-quality donations to stock the shop which can be delivered to the premises during opening hours or collections may also be available.
